The story

A 100% consistent Spokester appearance

Being a Spokester doesn’t always make life easy. There are many things to consider. To start with, maintaining your Spokester appearance requires the minutest attention to detail, and a great amount of patience. That well-groomed beard and striking moustache do not grow overnight. You tend to it, nurture it with enough TLC to grow the hairs on a tennis ball. And when, eventually, you have achieved that ultimate hipster-slickness, you want your image to stick. Consistency is key, and a couple of guidelines will not only help you maintain it, but will also help your furry friends to stay on-brand. This Spokes StyleGuide is your first step toward a consistent Spokester visual identity.

Button up!

When it comes to Spokester clothing, nothing is left to chance. There is a fine line between appearing beardy and rugged, and looking like a bum. The defining piece of clothing here is the shirt. Wear a denim or lumber shirt if you must, but be sure to button up the collar. Roll your sleeves up all the way to your armpits for best effect. Never tuck in, and avoid T-shirts as they can’t be buttoned-up. As to footwear: wear any type of footwear you like, as long as it is low-top sneakers. Do not wear socks, and tie a lot of leather bands and strings around both wrists. Your beard will ensure that wearing shorts doesn’t make you look like a 10-year old schoolboy.

Short sleeves are great for a generous glimpse at your impressive tattoos, but rolled up long sleeves do a better job at looking casually done.

100% fixed gear Spokes bicycle

Naturally, your bicycle of choice will not be any old racing model or mountain bike. People who like these are so twentieth century. Vintage is not for you (unless new, of course). You will ride a brand new fixed gear bicycle to your grave, and back. And the Spokes brand will forever blaze on the sides of your frame. Our Spokes bikes are 100% hand-made quality. We use only the finest aluminium (for our U.S. market we use aluminum), leather, bamboo and coconut hair. With a Spokes bicycle, you’re the finest Spokester on the block. It’s all a matter of identity. And removing dirt.
